Showing Up With Care
HumanKIND is a grassroots project focused on care, connection, and community safety that provides on-the-ground community care (e.g., water, PPE, first-aid, sunscreen, snacks), easy-to-use online resources and tools to support safe and sustainable participation in social movements, and trainings and workshops (e.g., CPR and first-aid, protest safety, de-escalation, risk assessment, mutual aid) by partnering with local organizations.
We show up where care is needed most — on the streets, in the heat, at the heart of peaceful protest and community gathering. But care isn’t just survival — it’s also in spirit. Our resource wagons also bring bubbles, flags, stickers, friendship bracelets, and flowers — small acts of joy that de-escalate tension, invite connection, and protect the right to gather peacefully.

Learn, Grow, Mobilize
Knowledge is care, too. HumanKIND partners with local community organizations to offer educational resources and training in areas such as community safety, de-escalation, protest rights, mutual aid, and first response. We equip everyday people with the tools they need to show up safely and meaningfully — for themselves and for each other.
